What is SALLT Young Leaders?
SALLT Young Leaders is a nine-month training program that brings together Christian leaders, 40's and under, who are the next generation of leaders and want to learn about how to apply a Biblical worldview to true systemic change by learning to think purposefully and strategically about long term change.
The training features a series of topic-oriented days including Worldview 101, God's Word as Guide, Leading Cultural Change, Community and Calling, Biblical Worldview Workshop, Communicated a Biblical Worldview and Finishing Strong. The goals of this training are to:
During the training year, additional speakers from multiple domains of influence as well as SALLT Signature Alumni are introduced to speak into the monthly topic. Some groups take trips to different organizations around the city or community that are making an impact. Upon completion of the training year, they are encouraged to continue involvement through joining or creating a Clapham Circle. See examples of Clapham Circles here.
Currently SALLT classes are only offered in Oklahoma City and participants are chosen by recommendation from board members or alumni only. However, we are in the process of initiating classes in a few select cities. If you are interested in beginning SALLT in your city, contact us.

- crystallize the specific call of God upon the lives of leaders
- refine and develop a Biblical worldview
- learn how to strategically apply these solutions in love and in service to their communities
- develop relationships with other Christian leaders

SALLT Young Leaders Requirements
A prospective SALLT Fellow candidate must demonstrate personal spiritual growth to which others will attest AND a current SALLT Fellow can attest to a belief that the candidate is on a demonstrable path to achieving 4 of the 8 qualifications over the next ten to fifteen years (i.e. there is a reasonable belief that this person is a future high level leader within his or her sphere of influence in this community):
- Serves or has served in a position of leadership or influence of a company or organization within his or her sphere of influence.
- Serves or has served on the board of, or participate at a high level of governance in an entity in his or her sphere of influence.
- Is a recognized authority in his or her sector as demonstrated by articles written, books published or talks given which have contributed to significant growth and/or change within his or her sphere of influence.
- With personal phone calls can convene a meeting of similar leaders within this community.
- Is recognized as, or can communicate as a peer at high levels of leadership in his or her sphere of influence.
- Has had public speaking roles. (Effective communicator)
- Has the ability, willingness and desire to employ personal resources to transform lives and culture.
- Access to influence as a catalyst for transformation.
- Demonstrates significant potential to transform lives and culture.
- Demonstrates humility and a willingness to learn and grow from other leaders and people of influence.
